Latar belakang : Dalam mendiagnosis DBD seringkali terjadi keterlambatan karena pada gejala awal infeksi virus dengue kerap tidak mudah terdeteksi. Gejala awal DBD ditandai dengan adanya penurunan kadar trombosit darah dibawah 150.000/mm3, dan biasanya ditemukan kisaran hari ke 3-7 sakit. Virus dengue akan masuk melalui gigitan nyamuk Aedes dan menginfeksi tubuh manusia. Virus dengue yang menginfeksi pembuluh darah inilah yang menyebabkan terjadinya perdarahan sel sehingga akan terjadi penurunan trombosit. Penatalaksanaan DBD salah satunya yaitu menggunakan metode komplementer sari kurma yang dapat meningkatkan kadar trombosit darah dengan kandungan-kandungan yang ada didalamnya serta berfungsi sebagai pembentukan sel-sel darah.
Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsumsi jus buah kurma dalam meningkatkan kadar trombosit pada pasien DBD.
Metode : Desain yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan atau literatur review, sumber yang diperoleh dari data-data sekunder dimana peneliti memperoleh sumber utama dari literatur-literatur yang berkaitan dengan fokus kajian.
Hasil : Rata-rata peningkatan kadar trombosit pada kelompok yang diberikan perlakuan sari kurma pada jurnal ke-1 sebesar 137.650/µL dan jurnal ke-2 sebesar 54.200/µL. Rata-rata kadar trombosit pada kelompok tanpa perlakuan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 38.700/µL pada jurnal ke-1 dan 36.000/µL pada jurnal ke-2.
Kesimpulan : Adanya pengaruh konsumsi jus buah kurma untuk meningkatkan kadar trombosit darah pada pasien DBD, yang artinya jus buah kurma efektif untuk membantu proses penyembuhan penyakit DBD dan mampu membantu mempercepat proses pembentukan trombosit atau memperbaiki sel trombosit yang rusak.

“Literature Review: Effect of Consumption Date Fruit Juice in Increasing Platelet Levels in Patients with Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF)”

Background : In diagnosing DHF, there is often a delay because the early symptoms of dengue virus infection are often not easily detected. The early symptoms of DHF are indicated by the decrease of thrombocyt level under 150,000/mm3, and usually found in day 3-7. The dengue virus will enter through the bite of the Aedes mosquitos and infect the human body. This infected blood vessel cause cell bleeding that will decrease of thrombocyte level. One of the treatments of DHF is an implementer method using date palm juice since its ingredients will increase the thrombocyte level in the blood and fungtions to produce thrombocyte.
Objective : To find out the effect of consuming date fruit juice in increasing the thrombocyte level of the DHF patients.
Methods : This research is using Literature Review method, the resources taken from secondary data that being collected from the main resources related to te research.
Results : The mean of thrombocyte level in the treatment samples in journal-1 is 137.650/µL and journal-2 is 54.200/µL. The average thrombcyte levels in the treatment samples is 38,700/µL in the 1st journal and 36,000/µL in the journal-2.
Conclusion : There is an effect of consuming date fruit juice to increase blood platelet levels in DHF patients, which means that date palm juice is effective in helping the healing process of dengue fever and can help accelerate the process of platelet formation or repair damaged platelet cells.
